-
Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.
-
Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from my Website (including date and time); products or services you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call my customer service number.

-
To carry out my obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and me and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from me.
-
To provide you with information about other products and services I offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about, or which you have expressed an interest in.
-
To notify you about changes to my service.
-
To ensure that content from my site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

-
To improve my site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.
-
To allow you to participate in interactive features of my service, when you choose to do so.
-
As part of my efforts to keep my site safe and secure.
-
To measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising, which I serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you, where you have expressly agreed to receive such advertising.
-
To make suggestions and recommendations to you about my products or services that may interest you.
Publicly sourced company email addresses
I never obtain individuals’ and company email addresses from public sources (either directly or through a third-party provider) in order to send communications about my products and services and my activities fall outside the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and EU ePrivacy Regulation provisions, therefore.
Advertising and Analytics
When you use my website, I or a third-party partner may serve you advertisements that may be of interest to you. These advertisements are based on information relating to your access to, and use of, my website and other websites. I use google analytics (and occasionally twitter and facebook analytics) in order to understand the types of people that visit my website and show you relevant advertisements for things you may have looked at on my website. Although, I do not currently use it, I may use the Facebook Pixel in the future and you can find out more about the Facebook Pixel here, including how to adjust your preferences with Facebook.
I also use third party analytics providers like Google Adsense to serve ads to you based on your prior visits to my website and other sites on the internet. You can always opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting Google’s Ad Settings.
How I build my audience profile through Social Media platforms
I work with social and business media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and LinkedIn to bring you targeted advertising about my products and services and improve your experience on my website. I may provide them with a list of email addresses and they confirm if they operate accounts with those email addresses. This enables us to provide relevant advertising on each platform to those accounts and to build an audience profile to help my adverts reach other people on each platform who may be interested in my products and services. This is also useful to avoid you being targeted with advertisements which would be inappropriate to you, for example but not limited to, those introducing me to new readers.
If the platform does not have an account with a matching email address, the contract terms under which they act as my processor for this purpose does not permit them to make any further use of the email address I provided.
I believe I have a legitimate interest in customising my social media communications in this way and that there is minimal impact on your privacy. Nevertheless, you can always unsubscribe so that I can no longer share your information with third-party platforms mentioned. Alternatively, if you have an account on any of the mentioned platforms, you can set your preferences via your platform account to avoid unwanted data-sharing.
